DIY Facials

Coming at you with some recipes for you to create the perfect DIY facials right in your very own home. Life is hectic whether it’s work, or because you’re a busy mom, or whatever the reason, and we don’t always have time (or the finances) for the full spa experience. But, your skin doesn’t have to suffer because of it. I wanted to share some of the DIY facial recipes that I use on a regular basis- or I try to at least! I hope you like them!! Bentonite Clay Mask

  • 1 Tbsp of bentonite clay
  • 1 Tbsp water

Mix together and smooth over your face. Let dry for 15 minutes and rinse with warm water. I always like to apply my favorite moisturizer from Pacifica Beauty after to keep my skin hydrated. Sometimes I also add baking soda to this. If you do this, I would cut down the quantity and use 1 teaspoon of clay and baking soda, and 1/2 of a tablespoon of water. The measurements don’t have to be perfect, just make sure it is thick enough to spread your skin and not too runny!

Strawberry Mud Mask

This mask is great for brightening your skin and clearing up breakouts. Put all ingredients in a blender or food processor, apply the mask and let dry for 15 minutes. Rinse the mask off with warm water and pat dry.

  • 3 strawberries
  • 1 Tbsp bentonite clay
  • 1 Tbsp honey
  • 2 Tbsp apple cider vinegar

Honey Oat Scrub

  • 1/4 cup of uncooked oats
  • 1 Tbsp almond milk
  • 1 Tbsp honey

Mix in a blender or food processor and apply, gently exfoliating skin.

Coffee Scrub

  • 1 Tbsp coffee grounds
  • 1 Tbsp coconut oil

Mix the oil with the used coffee grounds and gently exfoliate skin. I LOVE this scrub, but it can be a little more on the rough side, so if you have very sensitive skin, the honey oat scrub above might be a better option for you!

P.S. I love to use this scrub all over my body as well and apply lotion after for extra silky smooth skin! 😉 I hope you enjoy all of these at-home skin pampering recipes! OH! And if you’re looking for some great beauty products for an affordable price, check out this post below!
